Pamela Zapata-Sep\u00falveda, acad\u00e9mica de la Universidad de Tarapac\u00e1, particip\u00f3 en el&nbsp;<strong>18th International Congress of Qualitative Inquiry (ICQI 2022)<\/strong>, relevante instancia acad\u00e9mica que re\u00fane a investigadores e investigadoras en torno a los avances y desaf\u00edos de la investigaci\u00f3n cualitativa a nivel global.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En este contexto, la Dra. Zapata-Sep\u00falveda present\u00f3 el trabajo titulado&nbsp;<em>\u201cDistance education, intercultural curriculum and ICTs in times of COVID-19 in primary and secondary rural schools in border northern Chile (FONDECYT N\u00ba1221330)\u201d<\/em>, en coautor\u00eda con la Dra. Magdalena Su\u00e1rez-Ortega, de la Universidad de Sevilla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La investigaci\u00f3n aborda los desaf\u00edos de la educaci\u00f3n a distancia en contextos rurales del norte de Chile durante la pandemia por COVID-19, poniendo \u00e9nfasis en la articulaci\u00f3n entre curr\u00edculum intercultural y el uso de tecnolog\u00edas de la informaci\u00f3n y la comunicaci\u00f3n (TICs). Asimismo, releva las tensiones y oportunidades que emergen en territorios transfronterizos, donde la diversidad cultural constituye un elemento central en los procesos educativos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El estudio destaca la necesidad de avanzar hacia propuestas pedag\u00f3gicas contextualizadas, que integren de manera pertinente el uso de tecnolog\u00edas digitales y reconozcan las particularidades socioculturales de las comunidades educativas rurales. En este sentido, aporta al desarrollo de enfoques educativos m\u00e1s inclusivos y equitativos en escenarios de alta complejidad territorial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La participaci\u00f3n de la Dra.
